Africa Challenge was a sensation across the African continent. Eight countries. Two coasts. National competitions and an International Championship. 32 teams of amazing scholars traveled to Kampala, Uganda. Planet3 provided comprehensive support in set design and construction, custom lighting design, full technical backend and logistics for all four years of the competition.

Additionally, Planet 3 was tasked with creating the proprietary lock-out systems that power the Africa Challenge games. There were significant challenges due to unreliable power, transportation issues and available materials. Everything from hardware design to software coding and computer integration was built from the ground up.
